When were the, first words or books written?
I surf the net and really could not find exactly what I wanted to know. I found books on every subject you can think of, but! I do know since the time men and women has been on earth .We have used some form or another to draw or write out our thoughts and feelings. We have expressed these in forms of cave drawing called petroglyph and written words. Here are a couple of facts I found.

PARIS (AP) — Cave drawings thought to be older than those in the famed caves of Lascaux have been discovered in a grotto in western France, officials from the Charente region said Sunday.) This is one example of just how old drawings are. Many cave drawing, have been found over the years. Go net surfing sometime and see some of them.
Here are some facts I found on books.
One of the first book on written words, well clay tablet is a well know story. The first human author to write down the biblical record was Moses. He was, commanded by God to take on this task, for Exodus 34:27 records God's words to Moses, "Write down these words, for in accordance with these words I have made a covenant with you and with Israel." In addition, what language did he use? He wrote in his native language, called Hebrew.
In addition, the first novel: In the year 1007 a Japanese noble woman, Murasaki Shikibu, wrote the world's first full novel. Called "The story of Genji," it tells the story of a prince looking for love and wisdom.
